A consolidated book of the mandatory quality standards for food and feed, grouped by product type, with limits for contaminants, pesticide residues and additives, plus the lab testing fee schedule. Producers, importers, exporters, labs and regulators should treat it as the main reference for product standards.
Guideline on Grading Hotels and Restaurants by Food Hygiene, 2074

Explains how hotels, restaurants, canteens, sweet shops, tea shops and catering businesses are inspected and graded (star ratings) on food hygiene, with application form and annexes. Food service businesses and inspectors should read it.
Procedure for Regulating Dietary Supplement Food Products, 2072
आहारपूरक (डाइटरी सप्लिमेन्ट) खाद्य पदार्थ नियमन कार्यविधि २०७२
Defines dietary supplements and special-purpose foods and sets rules for their production, import, export, registration, labeling and health claims. Supplement makers, importers and sellers should read it.
Guideline on Hygiene and Quality of Milk and Dairy Products, 2075
दूध तथा दुग्ध पदार्थको स्वच्छता एवम् गुणस्तर निर्देशिका, २०७५
Sets hygiene and quality rules for the whole milk chain: farms, collection centres, dairies, transport and shops, with inspection check-lists and a list of dairy machinery. Dairy producers, milk collectors, dairy shop owners and inspectors should read it.
Guideline on Production Standards for Processed Drinking Water, 2074
प्रशोधित पिउने पानी उत्पादन मापदण्ड सम्बन्धी निर्देशिका, २०७४
Lists the plant, hygiene, bottle and jar, staff and labeling requirements that bottled and jar drinking water factories must follow. Packaged-water producers and inspectors should read it.
Feed Act, 2033 (1976)
A short Act to keep animal, bird and fish feed pure, covering definitions, how feed standards are set and who may inspect and enforce. Feed manufacturers and sellers should read it.
Notices on industrial trans fat limit and paper in direct contact with food (standards 2.18 and 17.1)

Two notices adding food standards: industrial trans fat in foods may not exceed 2% of the total fat, with a labeling rule, and rules on paper that touches food directly. Edible oil, bakery and snack makers, and anyone wrapping food in paper, should read it.
Notice adding the quality standard for Fortified Rice (item 07.29)

Adds a standard for rice fortified with vitamins and minerals, including how much fortified kernel may be mixed in, nutrient ranges, hygiene and labeling. Rice millers and fortified-food producers should read it.
Notice re-issuing Section 16: Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) for pesticides

Replaces section 16 of the earlier standards order with updated maximum pesticide residue limits for plant foods, given as long tables by pesticide and by crop. Growers, traders, importers, exporters and labs should read it.

Notices on melamine, alcoholic drinks (whisky, rum, vodka, brandy, gin) and packaged drinking water

Two notices: the first adds limits for melamine in foods and standards for alcoholic drinks; the second replaces the packaged drinking water standard, including natural mineral water. Distillers, bottled-water producers, infant-food makers and regulators should read it.
Notice adding standards for Pustakari, Gundpak, Beaten rice (Chiura), Dalmoth and a frying oil limit

Notice 1 adds a standard for cereal-based complementary foods for infants and young children (6 to 36 months), covering nutrients, additives and labeling; notice 2 replaces the heavy metal limits by food type. Baby food makers, importers and labs should read it.
